PROJECT: Design a coffee table book about a color.
The book content was to be pulled from wikipedia and any related sources. The concept was to include a cover, contents, two opening spreads and a follow-up spread.
I started with some sketch ideas, as well as some layout concepts.
I began exploring more conception options that would express something more about what the article, or spread way saying. Another consideration was to design information in a way that it would convey fun, and interesting facts to a casual reader.
I then mocked up the final images for presentation.
The project was thoroughly enjoyable, and made me want to make enough spreads to actually publish the book.
